Assembly Guide
Your Luvmm product ships partially assembled to help protect components during transit and reduce setup time after delivery.
We complete as much pre-assembly work as possible before shipment so customers can focus on getting everything set up quickly and safely.
Most customers complete final assembly in approximately 30–60 minutes using the included tools and basic household tools where needed.
If you have questions during assembly, contact us at support@luvmm.com and our support team will be happy to assist you.
What Comes Pre-Assembled
Many major components are already assembled before shipping to simplify setup.
Depending on the product model, pre-assembled components may include:
- Main frame structure
- Rear wheel assembly
- Drive components and wiring connections
- Brake cable routing
- Electrical system connections
This reduces the amount of technical setup required after delivery.
Components You May Need to Attach
Final setup may require attaching or adjusting several components, such as:
- Front wheel
- Handlebars
- Seat or saddle
- Storage basket or accessory mounts
- Pedals
- Front brake adjustment
-
LCD display or control panel
All required hardware and included tools are packaged inside the box unless otherwise noted in your product manual.
Please refer to the printed instruction manual included with your product for model-specific instructions and torque specifications.
Before You Begin
1. Use Two People for Unboxing
Many products are large and heavy. For safety, we strongly recommend having a second person help move and unpack the package.
Do not attempt to lift heavy packages alone.
2. Inspect for Shipping Damage
Before assembly, inspect all packaging and components carefully.
If you notice visible damage, broken parts, or missing components:
- Take photos immediately
- Contact support@luvmm.com within 48 hours of delivery
- Do not continue assembly until the issue is reviewed
3. Organize All Parts
Before beginning assembly:
- Lay out all included parts and hardware
- Compare contents against the parts list in your manual
- Confirm nothing is missing before proceeding
4. Read the Product Manual
Assembly steps and hardware placement can vary by model.
The printed manual included with your order should always be considered the primary reference for assembly instructions.
General Assembly Overview
The following steps provide a general overview only. Your included manual may contain additional instructions specific to your model.
Step 1 — Attach the Front Wheel
Position the front wheel into the fork dropouts and secure it using the included hardware.
Tighten both sides evenly and follow the recommended torque specifications provided in your manual.
Step 2 — Install the Handlebars
Insert the handlebar stem into the steering tube and align it straight with the front wheel.
Tighten the stem clamp bolts securely without overtightening.
Check alignment carefully before moving on.
Step 3 — Install the Seat
Insert the seat post above the minimum insertion line indicated on the post.
Adjust the height for comfort and tighten the seat clamp securely.
A proper seat height improves comfort and riding stability.
Step 4 — Install the Pedals
Pedals are directional:
- Right pedal = tightens clockwise
- Left pedal = tightens counter-clockwise
Thread pedals carefully by hand first to avoid cross-threading, then fully tighten using the provided wrench.
Loose pedals can create safety risks, so verify both are secure.
Step 5 — Adjust the Front Brake
Connect and adjust the front brake cable according to the manual instructions.
Before riding:
- Squeeze both brake levers firmly
- Confirm braking response feels secure
- Ensure the wheels stop properly
Do not ride until brake performance is confirmed.
Step 6 — Connect the Display or Electronics
Connect any LCD display or control cables to the matching ports.
Ensure all electrical connectors are fully seated and aligned correctly before powering on the system.
Step 7 — Install Accessories
If your model includes baskets, racks, or accessory mounts, attach them using the included hardware.
Avoid exceeding recommended weight limits listed in your manual.
Pre-Ride Safety Checklist
Before first use, confirm the following:
- Brakes engage properly
- Handlebars are fully tightened
- Pedals are secure
- Seat post is tightened safely
- Tires are inflated to the recommended pressure
- Battery is fully seated and charged
- Electrical connectors are fully connected
- Display powers on correctly
Do not operate the product until all safety checks are completed.
Tips for First-Time Riders
If you are new to this type of product, take time to practice in a quiet, open area before riding in busier environments.
Helpful tips:
- Start slowly and become familiar with steering and braking
- Practice turning at lower speeds
- Use the lowest assist or speed setting first if applicable
- Allow yourself time to get comfortable with handling and balance
Most customers feel comfortable after a few short practice sessions.
